Welcome the Modular Rollup future!
We believe that rollups utilizing alternative virtual machines (altVMs) and alternative data availability (altDA) solutions will scale significantly faster than those who do not.
While this has become a thesis of ours recently, we are still core believers in Ethereum and the upcoming EIP4844 upgrade.
Today, we’ll discuss some of problems with existing blockchain systems, the need for a more modular and flexible approach, the importance of user experience, the role of Initia’s L1 and L2 solutions, the significance of oracles and CCTP access, the concept of “just-in-time” gas, and the potential for building dApps within Initia’s ecosystem.
One of the key highlights about Initia is its focus on solving problems seen in existing blockchain systems, such as scalability and user experience, by providing a more modular and customizable approach. Initia aims to allow teams to spin up new app chains more easily while ensuring that these chains are free from the problems faced by previous systems.
You can think of Initia as a ‘modular rollup as a service’ provider in a way.
We’re here to explore, learn, and understand the future of scaling blockchains alongside you and hope to provide with you a glimpse into the future of rollups.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
The Rollup.
