High Rollers:
During ETHCC I learned about the different types of zkRollups (1 through 4) and was astonished at the complexities between the different types.
The key takeaway that I had was Type 1 zkRollups are Ethereum equivalent also known as zkEVM.
This is exactly what Taiko is building. Currently in their alpha 3 testnet (hint: 🪂) and having done tons of R&D, we think Taiko has a chance to take off and really gain serious traction in the rollup wars!
What’s also very interesting is one of their four co-founders is Matt Finestone, one of our early guests on the DeFi By Design podcast when he was working with Loopring 👀
He’s leading Taiko as a force to be reckoned with!
In this interview with Mikko, you’ll see why we think so…
Hope you enjoy and lets keep scaling to mass adoption one block at a time High Rollers!
Cheers,
Andy
