The Arbutrum STIPs are all about driving liquidity, trading, and development within the DeFi ecosystem. It’s not about revolutionizing or changing the game, but rather creating a thriving environment for liquidity providers, traders, and innovative projects.
The liquidity incentives are designed to attract DeFi liquidity providers by offering substantial ARB incentives on all pools on Arbitrum, resulting in over 250 million USD in liquidity and fostering healthy trade volume and open interest.
The grants program allocates a significant portion of the Arbitrum incentives to protocols and projects building on GMX and integrating with the platform. This has led to a healthy response from builders, with approximately 50 to 60 teams approaching GMX with proposals. Around 16 or 17 proposals have been confirmed and accepted, with the remaining proposals under review.
